Mushers Lodge

Mushers Lodge is a historic log building dating from 1932, located in the small village of Kauppinen in Kiruna kommun, Swedish Lapland. Originally serving as a family home, post office, and bar, the building has been carefully renovated by its owners while preserving its original character. It offers seven rooms accommodating up to 24 guests, including four double rooms, one four-bed room, and two six-bed rooms. Bathrooms are shared. The lodge sits on elevated ground with views over the surrounding area and yard, where guests can watch dog sled teams depart and return. White Trail Adventures also operates a remote wilderness camp around 30 kilometres from Kiruna, with cabin accommodation for up to 35 people, a shared kitchen, common room with fireplace, and a wood-heated sauna. The camp has no running water or electricity, making it suited to those seeking a genuine off-grid Lapland experience.
